Whether you’re here to explore the nearby national parks, hike the scenic trails, or just relax under the stars, our campsite provides a unique blend of comfort and adventure.

Our well-appointed accommodations offer a cozy escape from the every day while keeping you connected to nature.

Amenities

Modern Communal Bathrooms

We have 2 full baths, 1 toilet room and 1 shower room. All our bathrooms have hot running water for showers and the sink and flushing toilets, just like you would get at home. We provide organic bath products, towels, hand towels, and a modern clean design.

Sleeping Well

We get so many compliments on our mattresses that they needed their own section. Sleep on a bed frame and not the floor with duck-down comforters, hotel-quality pillows, and extra blankets.

Food & Drink Options

We have a breakfast, and a 21 and older drink menu. Cold breakfast options like yogurt, locally made bagels and pastries, and oatmeal are examples of some of the morning options. Please contact us if you have any specific questions.

Stargazing Cedar Barrel Bathroom

One of the four bathrooms is a unique cedar barrel with a glass roof. You get the feeling and experience of showering outside without letting the outside in. This seasonal bathroom has hot water for showers, a sink, and a flushing toilet. This is closed during freezing temperatures but the other 3 bathrooms are fully opened all year round!

Safety & 24 hour Assistance

The owners live on site so we will always be here. You can access us by phone, text, or coming to the office. We do get a lot of solo travelers and we would consider this place to be safe. Being conveniently located on a quiet HWY makes access to the nearby towns very easy and provides peace of mind for most.

Parking & Vehicle Access

We have 1 large parking lot that comes right off HWY 211. Any vehicle, no 4x4 clearance required, can access our property with ease. There is NO parking next to your accommodation. The walk is around 100 yards to the accommodations, a 1-2 min walk. Pathways are paved and we provide wagons to move your supplies.

Weather

While cold or inclement weather can add to the adventure, your safety is our top priority. We trust our sturdy tents, designed to withstand winds and storms that typical backpacking tents cannot. If conditions are deemed unsafe, we’ll cancel your reservation and provide a full refund. We’re committed to keeping you comfortable and safe during your stay.

On Site Activities

We aim to be a place for you to relax, unwind, and slow down after your days of adventuring. We have hammocks, astronomy tours twice a month, self-guided nature walks, a self-guided stargazing app, sauna use, board games, and massages available to purchase (appt needed).

Cancellation Policy

We offer a 97% refund of your total reservation 30 days prior to your check-in date. 50% refund if within 29-15 days of your check-in date. Reservations are non-refundable or transferable to a new date after 14 days prior to your check-in date.

Campfires and Firewood

Each accommodation has its own fire pit with a grill top. We bundle our own firewood to sell and we also sell fire starters to make the job easier. We also supply s'mores sticks. If there is a fire ban, we will have a communal propane fire pit set up with Adirondack seating.

Airports & Transportation

Canyonlands Regional Airport in Moab is a 1-hour drive from us. You can rent a car from either Canyonlands Car Rental or Enterprise. Durango Airport and Grand Junction Airport in Colorado are a 2 1/2 hour drive from us.

Planning Your Trip

We love showcasing our local community and we work with our local towns as much as we can. Smoking

No smoking of any kind around the tents or communal areas. This includes vaping or pipes. You may smoke in the parking lot or inside your vehicle.

Pets

No pets allowed. We have 2 dogs and free-range chickens.

Upgrade Your Morning

Let us bring you coffee and tea while you stay in the comfort of your accommodation. For just $12 we will deliver you hot french press coffee made with locally roasted beans and a selection of teas. Cold milk, cream, non-dairy milk and sugar are available.

What We Provide

Inside Tents

Our tents offer cozy comfort with plush mattresses, soft linens, pillows, and extra blankets, including outdoor blankets for cooler nights.

Relax on lounge chairs, enjoy ambient string lights, and keep devices charged with a phone pack. Each tent includes a bedside table, combination lock, fan for summer, propane heater for chilly nights, and essentials like a guidebook, guest book, hand sanitizer, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher.

Outside Tents

Enjoy your private outdoor space with deck chairs on a wood platform, a picnic table for meals, and a personal firepit with a grill top. Relax in your hammock under shade coverings, with solar pathway lights to guide you at night—all set against stunning canyon views, blending comfort and nature seamlessly.

Clothing

Layering is key! Days are warm, nights are cool.

Daytime Adventures

Pack versatile layers for your adventures: shirts, tank tops, shorts, pants, and a lightweight jacket. Bring a rain jacket for July-August and a beanie and gloves for March and November. Wear hiking socks with walking shoes or boots, and sandals for camp. Don’t forget a hat, sunglasses, and a washcloth or sponge for freshening up.

Evenings at Camp

Stay warm and cozy in the evenings with comfy layers: pack shirts, long sleeves, a sweater, and comfy pants. Cozy socks and slippers are perfect for keeping feet warm on the tent floor. Don’t forget a beanie and gloves for March and November, and sandals for easy movement around camp.
