Who We Are
Our love for Utah started in 2012 on our Honeymoon. We did a 3-week road trip and one of our favorite places was backpacking The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. We knew one day we would want to call Utah home. Fast-forward years later while living in Vegas, we were both working jobs that we no longer found fulfilling and living in a city we were ready to move on from. We decided on a 5-year plan to renovate our house, sell it, and find land to live on. We were able to do this in 3 years and after MANY conversations on what we wanted our future to look like and where, we ALWAYS returned to Utah.
We sold our house in October 2019 and traveled for a few months (COVID-19 shorted our original 6-month plan). We started looking for land in June 2020 and bought this 22 acres on HWY 211, the road to The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park! With everything we do, we do a lot of talking and dreaming about what we want so I’m honestly not sure when we landed on setting up a glamping business with canvas bell tents! We always knew we wanted to get out of the city, work for ourselves, be outside more, and have acres of property. We’ve been able to do that by starting our business, Glamping Canyonlands.
